SONG Power will work with our comrades at GLAHR Action and Mijente on the Take Action, Get Power campaign to organize to make stopping detentions and deportations, ending cash bail and pre-trial detention, and halting the criminalization of Black, Brown, poor and working-class communities major issues in both the Cobb County and Gwinnett County sheriff races in 2020 in Georgia.

Through our alliance, we will mobilize Black people, LGBTQ people, and the Latinx community (including new and low-frequency Latinx voters); we will test messaging that reaches Black communities and communities of color that are usually left out of the political conversation on issues of immigration and criminalization; we will build our membership bases, and prepare to launch further #EndMoneyBail and Pre-Trial Detention and #MeltICE campaigns with targets we helped to pick in 2021.
